Joiner was an NCAA All-American and All-Region selection in 2003 while helping the team finish as the national runner-up in its first trip to the College World Series. She was a two-time All-Peach Belt Conference selection, the NCAA Regional Tournament MVP in 2003, and also selected to the 2003 College World Series All-Tournament Team. Joiner was also named to the Peach Belt Conference Presidential Honor Roll. She holds slots in the GC career pitching records for victories, lowest earned run average, strikeouts, strikeouts per game, shutouts, and fewest hits and walks per game.
