MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The third annual Georgia College Athletics Faculty Appreciation Night is set for Thursday, Feb. 10 during half time of the men’s basketball game against Augusta State University.
Each year, senior student-athletes are asked to choose a professor who has influenced them during their time at Georgia College. Those faculty members are honored for helping our student-athletes achieve their goals of earning a collegiate degree while playing for the Bobcats.
At halftime of the men’s basketball game, faculty members will stand alongside their student-athlete to be recognized on the court. This is a ceremony to showcase our senior student-athletes with the professor who has been dedicated to making them successful.
These faculty members are highly appreciated for teaching our student-athletes dedication, time management skills and what they need to be successful in their chosen career path.
The Bobcats take on rival ASU at 7:30 p.m. following the women’s game at 5:30 p.m. This game is also Senior Night for both Bobcat basketball teams.
