MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Do your youngsters enjoy playing tennis? Have they ever wanted to learn from top level with collegiate athletes and coaches? Here is your chance. The Georgia College tennis program and head coach Steve Barsby are proud to announce the Georgia College Junior Bobcat Tennis Program.
The Georgia College Junior Bobcat Tennis Program will be holding a free tryout day on Oct. 9 at the Centennial Center Tennis Facility. There is no cost on this day but all participants must bring their own racket. From 9 a.m. to 10:15 a.m., GC will host all ages from Pre-K to fifth grade. From 10:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. they will host all ages from sixth grade to 12th grade.
If your youngsters enjoy the tryout day, they can take advantage of the full six-week tennis program for only $69, which includes a Bobcat Tennis T-shirt for every player on the last day. The clinic will be every Saturday for the next six weeks starting Oct. 16 and ending Nov. 20.
