MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College Athletic Department is set to team with GC’s Business Ethics Class to host HomePort Homeless Veterans Day during doubleheader basketball action Saturday, Dec. 2 at 1:30 p.m.
Cynthia Orms’ GC Business Ethics Class has partnered with Home Port in Macon this semester, helping the organization raise awareness and funds for its efforts toward aiding homeless Veterans in Middle Georgia.
Saturday, members of the class will be on hand at the game, raising funds and awareness throughout the Georgia College doubleheader against Augusta University.
HomePortMaconGA, Inc. was formed to offer a unique combination of premier home-like Veteran housing in a Veteran community-based environment with social services in the Middle Georgia region.
