MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College Cross Country program and head coach Steven Cary are set to host the 2017 Bobcat Invitational Friday, Oct. 6 at the Council Farm Course. The women’s race will get things started Friday at 5:15 p.m., followed by the men’s race.
The women will race a 6K, while the men will take to an 8K course. The 2016 Bobcat Invite Men’s Championship went to Augusta University, who returns to this year’s 17-team field. Women’s Champion the University of North Georgia also returns to defend its title in the 20-team women’s race.
The Bobcats have been hosting races at the Council Farm Course on Council Mc Cranie Road beginning in 2014, including the 2016 Peach Belt Conference (PBC) Championship.
