Georgia College’s Schwind, Sutton Named to PBC All-Sportsmanship Team

COLUMBUS, Ga. – The Peach Belt Conference (PBC) hosted its annual postseason awards banquet Friday night, with a pair of Georgia College runners taking spots on the PBC All-Sportsmanship Team, as seniors Brittney Schwind (Suwanee) and Matt Sutton (Norcross) took the honors for the Bobcats.

Georgia College is fresh off earning PBC Sportsmanship Institution of the Year for the 2016-17 season; Schwind and Sutton have gotten the Bobcats off on the right foot for a title defense.

The Bobcats are back in action Saturday, Oct. 21 at 9 a.m., running in the PBC Championships in Columbus.

The Georgia College Department of Athletics, two-time winners of the PBC Commissioner's Cup and the 2017 PBC Sportsmanship Institution of the Year, sponsors 11 varsity athletic programs at the NCAA Division II level.
