MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College Athletic Training Department and head athletic trainer Paul Higgs welcomes graduate assistant Logan Johnson to the Bobcat family beginning in the 2018-19 season.
A native from Peachtree City, Johnson graduated from Piedmont College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training. She played lacrosse for the Piedmont Lions.
“I am honored to have Logan join our athletic training staff,” said Higgs. “She has a great work ethic and genuinely cares about making a positive impact on those we care for.”
Johnson has gained experience working with Piedmont College men’s lacrosse team and the softball team. She has also assisted at General Medical Rotation Family Practice and the GHSA Wrestling State Tournament.
At Georgia College, Johnson is pursuing a master’s in Human Performance while serving as the lead trainer for both the softball and women’s cross country teams.
The Georgia College Department of Athletics, two-time winners of the PBC Commissioner's Cup and the 2017 PBC Sportsmanship Institution of the Year, sponsors 11 varsity athletic programs at the NCAA Division II level.
