MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Annual Sodexo Bobcat Classic Golf Tournament proved to be an excellent time once again, while also generating money that will go towards student-athlete scholarships and other pertinent needs in the athletic department.
The tournament was held Monday, Sept. 12 at the beautiful Harbor Club golf course in Lake Oconee, Ga., where over 30 teams competed for the friendly cause.
“I thought everything went great today,” said tennis coach Steve Barsby, “I was really impressed with the turnout and support the tournament generated for our athletic department and student-athletes.”
Multiple games were made available throughout the course, including a closest-to-the-pin challenge and a 50/50 raffle on-the-green challenge.
All proceeds benefited the athletic department, but many walked away with impressive gifts and prizes.
