MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The No. 24 Georgia College baseball team (24-14, 9-9 PBC) and head coach Tom Carty are proud to announce Baseball Alumni Day Saturday, April 16 as part of the doubleheader between the Bobcats and the University of Montevallo at John Kurtz Field.
All baseball alumni are invited back to swap stories, share experiences and take in some of the best baseball in the southeast as the Bobcats look to do battle in a crucial Peach Belt Conference (PBC) series. In between games of the doubleheader, baseball alumni are welcome to a barbecue lunch in the pavilion area adjacent to the field.
The 1981 Colonial baseball team will be honored prior to the contest, as GC Athletics Hall of Famer Phil Arp will throw out the first pitch.
All alumni interested in attending Saturday’s get-together are encouraged to contact Coach Carty at 478-445-1692 or via email at email@example.com in order for the team to have an accurate count on food.
