Second Bobcat Professional Baseball Update for 2011

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – This is the second update on former Georgia College student-athletes working their way through the world of professional baseball.
Michael Antonini (2007)
Pitcher for the Chattanooga Lookouts of the Double-A Southern League, affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers … Has compiled a 2-2 record thus far, with a 3.04 ERA in 23 2/3 innings of work … Antonini has a fantastic strikeout-to-walk ratio, currently sitting at 4-to-1 … He threw a gem against the Huntsville Stars (4/19), going six scoreless innings while allowing just four hits in the win … Opponents are hitting just .255 against Antonini this season.
Andy Reichard (2007)
Pitcher for the San Jose Giants of the Class A Advanced California League, affiliate of the San Francisco Giants … Reichard has thrown in four games, all in relief compiling an ERA of 1.86 in 9 2/3 innings of work … Opponents are struggling against Reichard, only hitting .188 off the righty … He went 2 2/3 scoreless innings against the Island Empires 66ers (4/19), striking out two and allowing just one hit.
Alex Burkard (2010)
Burkard is in rookie ball pitching for the AZL Angels … Their season has yet to get underway.
Martin Dewald (2010)
The righty has signed a contract to play for the River City Rascals Independent Frontier League … They will begin their season Tuesday, May 10 against the Normal CornBelters.
Sean Harrell (2010)
The outfielder has signed a contract to play for the Southern Illinois Miners of the Independent Frontier League … They will begin their season Wednesday, May 11 against the Gateway Grizzlies.
Brendan Malkowski (2010)
The right hander has also signed on to play for the Southern Illinois Miners of the Independent Frontier League … They will being their season Wednesday, May 11 against the Gateway Grizzlies.
