MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Junior catcher Cody Maas (Alpharetta, Ga.) of the Georgia College baseball team was named the school’s most recent Bobcat Athlete of the Week for his efforts in the week ending Feb. 19.
Maas has been a threat at the plate this season, going 9-for-17 (.529) over five games last week, driving in nine runs and scoring three. His best game was in the opener of the doubleheader with Clark Atlanta University, going 4-for-6 with three runs and six RBI, swatting a home run and a double. He also had a 2-for-3 effort with a double and RBI against Pfeiffer University Friday.
The Bobcats are back in action Saturday, Feb. 25 at 2 p.m., traveling to No. 29 USC Aiken in a doubleheader at 2 p.m.
