MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College baseball team and head coach Tom Carty are pleased to join with Gamma Sigma Sigma to host Miracle League Day Sunday, March 11 at 1 p.m. at John Kurtz Field.
The biggest, little Bobcat fan Dy'Lon Rayford from the Macon Miracle League will be in attendance Sunday. Rayford returns for his third season to throw a ceremonial first pitch to kick off the game against UNC Pembroke.
But the fun doesn’t stop there, as Kurtz Field will host its first Zaxby’s Kids Zone, complete with inflatables, a radar gun throw and much more. Zaxby’s will also supply free tea and cookies, asking for donations to Miracle League, and Gamma Sigma Sigma will be serving hot dog and hamburger plates for $5, all money going to the cause as well.
The event is free and open to the public, and sure to be great fun for all.
