MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College baseball program and head coach Tom Carty are set for a busy weekend, honoring both baseball alumni and local Military members Saturday, April 21 at 1 p.m.
All service members are invited to attend the doubleheader at as the Bobcats take on a conference rival, Columbus State University. Military members will receive free popcorn upon showing their Military I.D.
GC baseball will also host its annual Alumni Weekend, as all Bobcat and Colonial baseball alumni are welcome to join the team for an after-game cookout in the pavilion behind the field. GC will honor the 1992 Colonial baseball squad for its 20th anniversary.
Family, friends, and members of the community are encouraged to cheer on the Bobcats in one of their last regular season home games. The Bobcats are currently 25-17 and 15-8 in the Peach Belt Conference.
The event is free and open to the public, and sure to be fun for all.
