MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College baseball program and head coach Tom Carty are excited to host a summer youth camp this June, stretching June 11-14.
Boys ages 9-12 will go for the full-day camp from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., while the younger 5-to-8 year-olds will do the half-day Rookie Camp from 9 a.m. to noon. The full day cost is $200 and half-day at $125.
This camp is for dedicated youth players who want to improve overall baseball skills. All areas of baseball are covered at length daily. Our morning sessions are very defensive oriented, working on throwing, fielding and team play. The afternoon sessions shift to the offensive part of the game, including bunting, base running and hitting. Campers will be grouped according to age, physical maturity, experience and overall ability. The camp will have a limited enrollment to ensure continual instruction for all participants.
