AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Peach Belt Conference (PBC) announced its Baseball All-Academic Team Monday, with Georgia College's Daniel Bick (Alpharetta, Ga.) taking a spot among the Honorable Mentions.
Bick owns a 3.39 GPA in management as a junior.
The shortstop is one of two Bobcats to start every game this season. He's hitting .352 this year with three home runs and 40 RBI. Bick ranks second in the PBC in runs (63) and seventh in stolen bases (17).
In the five-year history of the program, the Bobcats have put eight student-athletes on the PBC Baseball All-Academic lists.
The Bobcats (29-17) are back in action Wednesday, May 8 at 10 a.m., facing Columbus State University to open the 2013 PBC Tournament.
