GC Baseball Cracks National Top-30 Again

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – With a four-game sweep of the Peach Belt Conference (PBC) Tournament,  the Georgia College baseball team (33-18) crept back into the Collegiate Baseball Magazine NCAA Division II Top-30, taking No. 25.

It's the second time this season the Bobcats have picked up a national ranking, the first coming April 8 when Georgia College spent a week at No. 24.

The Bobcats put their No. 25 ranking to the test today in an elimination game at the NCAA Southeast Regional Tournament, as No. 5-seed Georgia College battles No. 6-seed Lincoln Memorial University at 11 a.m.

The Georgia College Department of Athletics, two-time winners of the PBC Commissioner's Cup, sponsors 11 varsity athletic programs at the NCAA Division II level.
