MILLEDGEVILE, Ga. – Junior Taylor Hinshaw (Winder, Ga.) of the Georgia College baseball team (6-3) was awarded Bobcat Athlete of the Week after his performance this weekend, as the Bobcats had three dominating wins.
Hinshaw had 10 RBI on the day and finished 5-for-7 at the plate, helping to secure Saturday’s doubleheader sweep of Clark Atlanta.
As a pinch hitter in game one, Hinshaw went 2-for-2 with a run, posting two doubles and five RBI. His impressive performance continued in game two as he started in left field, driving in five more with a double and triple in a 3-for-5 effort.
The Bobcats will look to continue their win streak during their doubleheader at Flagler College, Saturday, Feb. 23, at 1 p.m.
