AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Peach Belt Conference (PBC) released its Preseason All-PBC Baseball Team Friday, with Georgia College senior Jeremy Donaldson (Winder, Ga.) earning a slot on the squad at third base.
Donaldson spent 2012 at second base for the Bobcats but will make the move to third in 2013. He hit .310 with seven home runs and 34 RBI, scoring 22 runs as well. Donaldson was ranked in the PBC top 10 in home runs and slugging percentage (.548) and made only three errors at second base.
The Bobcats had shortstop Tanner Funk (2011-12) named Preseason All-PBC a year ago.
Georgia College kicks off the 2013 season at home Saturday, Feb. 2 at 1 p.m. with a doubleheader against Mars Hill College.
