Bobcat Baseball to Host “Bark at the Park” and Kids Run the Bases Sunday

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – When the defending Peach Belt Conference (PBC) Tournament Champion Georgia College baseball squad battles defending National Champion University of Tampa Sunday, Feb. 17 at 1 p.m. there will be a few extra fans, of the four-legged variety.

Sunday's game will show off promotions from two groups of Georgia College's Sports Marketing Class, adding a "Bark at the Park" day, teaming with "Have a Heart, Save a Life" animal shelter. Also, after the doubleheader is completed, all youngsters ages 14 and under can run the bases at John Kurtz Field.

First pitch at John Kurtz Field on Georgia College's West Campus comes at 1 p.m. Sunday.

The Georgia College Department of Athletics, two-time winners of the PBC Commissioner's Cup, sponsors 11 varsity athletic programs at the NCAA Division II level.
