Josh Taylor (2014)
Pitcher for the Jackson Generals of the Double-A Southern League, affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks … Is 4-5 with a 4.62 ERA for the Generals appearing in 20 games … Has allowed just two earned runs over his last six relief outings, dating back to July 7 … Most recent effort was a scoreless eighth against Birmingham July 23, scattering two hits in the 8-0 Generals win … Team went 37-33 in the first half, good for second in the Southern League North Division, and now stands 17-15 in the second half.
Brandon Benson (2014-17)
Outfielder for the State College Spikes of the Single-A Short Season New York-Penn League, affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals … Has played in 21 games, hitting .274 with three home runs, 15 RBIs and 15 runs … He's second on the team in RBIs, first in home runs and second in runs scored … Team is now 19-15, fourth in the Pickney Division.
Daniel Bick (2011-14)
Shortstop for the Ottawa Champions of the independent Can-Am League … Hitting .290 with four home runs and 20 RBIs in his 57 games this season … Has also stolen 19 bases and scored 41 runs … His home runs, doubles (10) and runs scored are all career highs for Bick … Team is now 30-31, good for fourth in the league standings … Helped lead team to league championship in 2016.
