GC Baseball’s Rolick Chosen for Sunbelt All-Star Team

ATLANTA, Ga. – The Sunbelt League has released its All-Star Team for the upcoming Southeast Collegiate Prospect Showcase (SCPS), with Georgia College redshirt freshman Chris Rolick (Marietta) joining the pitching staff.  

Walton High alum Rolick plays for the Marietta Patriots, and has controlled hitters for a 2.51 ERA and 1-1 record in his four starts. Totaling 12 whiffs over his 14 1/3 innings thus far, Rolick is 10th in the league in ERA, seventh among starters.

The SCPS is a five-team event as All-Star squads from the Sunbelt, Florida Collegiate Summer League, Southern Collegiate Baseball League, the Valley League and the Cal Ripken League will do battle July 16-17 in Wingate, North Carolina.

The Georgia College Department of Athletics, two-time winners of the PBC Commissioner's Cup and the 2017 PBC Sportsmanship Institution of the Year, sponsors 11 varsity athletic programs at the NCAA Division II level.
