MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The No. 6 Georgia College Baseball team and head coach Jason Eller released their 2019 schedule Friday.
The Bobcats kick of their season with an eight-game home stretch with Paine College, the University of West Georgia and No. 4 University of Tampa providing the opposition. Action starts Friday, Feb. 1 as GC Baseball hosts Paine.
Peach Belt Conference (PBC) play begins Friday, Feb. 15 at home against Georgia Southwestern State University. The next day, the Bobcats host Georgia Southwestern on Homecoming as the Bobcats continue to defend their 2018 PBC Championship.
Senior Day is slotted for the final weekend of the season as the Bobcats host rival and 2018 World Series participant No. 2 Columbus State University for three games beginning April 26.
GC Baseball will look to make it three titles in a row at the 2019 PBC Championship Tournament, Scheduled for May 10-12 at Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida.
In all, the Bobcat have five nationally-ranked teams on this season's schedule. The ranked competition comes from No. 2 CSU, No. 4 Tampa, No. 20 University of Montevallo, No. 24 University of Mount Olive and No. 26 UNC Pembroke.
The Bobcats look to win the PBC Championship for an unprecedented third straight season. The Bobcats have won a total of five PBC Tournament titles, three of which have been in the last four seasons.
