Brandon Durden returns to Georgia College for his second season as an assistant coach.

Durden is a familiar face to Bobcat faithful, as he toed the rubber on John Kurtz Field for three seasons. An All-Southeast Region First Teamer in 2004, Durden was drafted and signed by the Colorado Rockies in in the fourth round of the MLB First-Year Player Draft. Durden spent six seasons in minor league baseball, reaching as high as the Triple-A level. He was a 2006 South Atlantic League All-Star.
