>>>Full Poll

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. - For the second-straight week, the Georgia College & State University golf program and head coach Jimmy Wilson has earned the No. 2 slot in the Nike Golf/Golf World NCAA Division II Top-25.

The Bobcats have appeared in every poll this season, jumping to No. 2 on the April 1 version. Georgia College garnered four first-place votes.

The latest poll had the top two slots the same as the previous edition, with the University of Central Oklahoma dropping from third to fourth and Nova Southeastern University stepping up to third. Peach Belt Conference (PBC) school Columbus State University retains the top honor, with PBC school USC Aiken taking fifth.

In other PBC honors, Lander University stands No. 13, while PBC Champions Clayton State University are No. 15.

The Bobcats are truly a balanced squad, picking up two All-PBC honorees in Niclas Johansson (Skanor, Sweden) and Joe Young (Cochran, Ga.) but no starter has higher than a 74.6 stroke average.

The Bobcats await selections for the NCAA Southeast Region Championship, a tournament they won in 2008. This year's region championship will be held in Florence, Ala., hosted by the University of North Alabama.
