GC Athletics Puts 90 on PBC Presidential Honor Roll
MARTINEZ, Ga. - The Peach Belt Conference (PBC) announced its Presidential Honor Roll recipients, with 90 Georgia College student-athletes making the list. The program honors all student-athletes with a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the 2010-11 academic year.

Former Bobcat Golfers Finish 1-2 in Pro Event
INDIAN LAND, S.C. – Just think what the team score would have been. Former Georgia College golfers Joe Young (2007-11) and Billy Shida (2007-11) spent four seasons together as All-American caliber starters for the Bobcats, and now are making some noise in the professional ranks, finishing 1-2 at the NGA/Hooters Tour Carolina Summer Series (CSS) event at Carolina Lakes Golf Club June 16.

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College & State University athletic department and director Wendell Staton are proud to announce the hiring of Jamie Madewell-Grodecki as the fourth fastpitch softball coach in school history. She comes to Milledgeville after three seasons as head coach at St. Petersburg College to replace Ginger Chaffinch, who was recently elevated to an Assistant Athletic Director position for Bobcat athletics.

Bobcat Athletics Puts 93 on PBC Presidential Honor Roll
MARTINEZ, Ga. - The Peach Belt Conference (PBC) announced its Presidential Honor Roll recipients, with 93 Georgia College & State University student-athletes making the list. The program honors all student-athletes with a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the 2009-10 academic year.
