POOLER, Ga. – The third and final round of action at the Peach Belt Conference (PBC) Championships wasn't to be for No. 6 Georgia College Tuesday, as the Bobcats slid from second to fourth place with a final round 307.

No. 25 Flagler College took the team title with an eight-over par 872. The Saints bested the field by 16 strokes. No. 19 UNC Pembroke was second, with No. 13 Armstrong Atlantic finishing two strokes ahead of GC.

PBC Player of the Year Billy Shida (Berkeley Lakes, Ga.) finished three strokes off the lead in second, carding rounds of 66, 73 and 75 for two-under, one of just three golfers under par for the tourney.

Freshman All-PBC Second Team selection Gavin Harper (Twin City, Ga.) took 11th at seven-over par, posting an 80 today to follow yesterday's 69 and 74.

Senior Joe Young (Cochran, Ga.) another All-PBC pick, gave GC three in the top-20 with a 19th place finish, shooting a 78 today added to rounds of 71 and 78 yesterday.

Senior Matthew Yonz (Waycross, Ga.) was the lone Bobcat to fire his best round Tuesday, sandwiching a pair of 77s around a 78 for plus-16 in 29th. Sophomore All-PBC selection Patrick Garrett (Kennesaw, Ga.) was one stroke behind in 31st, carding 76-80-77.

Flagler's Joel Dahlenburg won individual medalist honors, carding rounds of 71, 71 and 69 for five-under. He beat the second-place tie between Shida and his teammate Chris Bray at two-under.
