Young Named Peach Belt Golfer of the Week

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – No. 7 Georgia College golf team senior Joe Young (Cochran, Ga.) was named Peach Belt Conference (PBC) Golfer of the Week Wednesday for the second week in a row.

This week, Young led the Bobcats to a third place finish at the Bearcat Invitational, earning the individual title by finishing six under par. This week’s performance has put Young at the top of the PBC in stroke average with 71.2.

Last week, Young earned Co-Golfer of the Week after a season-low score of 67 in the final round of the Bobcat Invitational. He shared this award with Rourke Van der Spuy from Columbus State University.

The Bobcats have finished up their regular season and get back to action for the PBC Championship beginning April 11 in Savannah, Ga.
