Former Bobcat Johansson Competing at First PGA Q-School Stage
KINGWOOD, Texas – Four-time All-American Niclas Johansson (2006-2010) is lighting up the first round of stage-one PGA Tour Qualifying Tuesday, posting a four-under 68 at The Clubs of Kingwood.
Johansson is tied for fourth after one round of action. Johansson posted four birdies and not a single hole over par in his first round of action today. The first four-time All-American in Georgia College men’s athletic history, Johansson was a stalwart at the top of the leaderboards for his four years carrying a Bobcat golf bag.
He spent the past year playing as a professional in his native Sweden. Johansson passed the first stage of the European Tour, and awaits the second stage of qualifying there as well.
