NEW YORK – The Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) released its most recent GolfWorld/Nike Golf Division II National Coaches Poll Wednesday, with Georgia College golf leaping six spots to No. 10.
The Bobcats were fresh off the NCAA South/Southeast SuperRegional Championship, and as a result picked up one of the 11 first-place votes as well.
Barry University kept the top slot with Nova Southeastern University and CSU-Stanislaus rounding out the top three. The Bobcats were third among the five Peach Belt Conference (PBC) teams listed, led by No. 5 UNC Pembroke.
USC Aiken is one slot ahead in ninth, while No. 19 Georgia Southwestern State University and No. 21 Armstrong round out the list.
