Bobcat Golf Takes #14 in National Poll

NEW YORK – The Georgia College golf program claimed the No. 14 spot in the latest Golf World/Nike Golf Division II College Coaches’ Poll released by Golf World Nov. 7.
Georgia College sits in the top-15 with 152 points, 24 points behind No. 13 CSU-Monterey Bay. Notable Peach Belt Conference teams in the top-25 are No. 11 Georgia Southwestern State University, No. 15 USC Aiken, No. 17 UNC Pembroke, No. 20 Armstrong and No. 23 Columbus State University.
Lynn University takes the top-spot in the country with 378 points and four place votes. No. 2 Barry University was barely edged out with 371 points and three first place votes. The University of West Florida rounds out the top-three with 352 points and three first place votes.
The Bobcats look to continue their storied success as they head into winter break and their preparation for the spring.
