MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. --- Redshirted junior Patrick Garrett (Kennesaw, Ga.) of the No. 14 Georgia College golf team was chosen Bobcat Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sept. 11. This is the first such honor for both Garrett and the Bobcat golf team this season.
All-Peach Belt (PBC) honoree Garrett finished 12th while Georgia College took sixth at the Kiawah Island Invitational this past week. He carded a pair of 74s at the tournament, finishing four over par.
The Bobcats are back in action Monday, Sept. 16 at the Sandestin Collegiate Championship in Destin, Fla. hosted by the University of West Florida.
