PINE MOUNTAIN, Ga. – The Peach Belt Conference (PBC) announced its annual year-end awards for men's golf Friday night, with Georgia College golfers Taylor Smith (Mansfield, Ga.) and Patrick Garrett (Kennesaw, Ga.) taking slots on the All-PBC teams.
Smith earns his second All-PBC nod, his first time taking a spot on the first team. He has posted a 73.3 stroke average, tied for second in the PBC. Smith has two top-10 finishes among his eight starts, his best finish coming at fifth at the 2013 Southeastern Intercollegiate.
Garrett picks up all-conference honors for the third time in his career by earning a second-team spot. He owns a single top-five finish this season and a 74.4 stroke average.
All-time the Bobcats have now put 34 golfers on the All-PBC Teams, all under the guidance of head coach Jimmy Wilson.
The Bobcats are back in action Saturday, April 20 at the PBC Tournament at Callaway Gardens.
