MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College golf team maintained their No. 11 ranking in the latest Golf World/Nike Golf Division II Coaches’ Poll and fell two spots to No. 14 in the Golfstat Men’s NCAA Head-to-Head Rankings.
The Bobcats are among four other Peach Belt Conference (PBC) teams in the top-25 of the Golf World/Nike Poll. GC golf ranks third among PBC teams, behind No. 3 USC-Aiken and No. 9 Columbus State University. Armstrong comes in just behind the Bobcats at No. 12 and Georgia Southwestern State University rounds out the PBC members in the top-25 at No. 22. The No. 1 ranking goes to Nova Southeastern University with Barry University at No. 2.
The Golfstat Rankings place the Bobcats at No. 14, good for the fourth-best PBC team in the poll behind No. 3 USC Aiken, No. 9 Columbus State and No. 13 Armstrong. Georgia Southwestern comes in at No. 18. Nova Southeastern and Barry took the top two spots in the rankings.
The Georgia College golf team will take the course for the next time at the PBC Championship in Pine Mountain, Ga. Apr. 20 and 21.
