Bobcat Golf Places in Top-25 of Division II Coaches Poll

NEW YORK – The Golf Coaches Association (GCAA) released its latest Spring 2014 Golf World/Nike Golf Division II College Coaches' Poll Wednesday, with Georgia College standing its ground in the top-25 and No. 20.
The Bobcats were listed fifth among five Peach Belt Conference (PBC) schools in the top-25. USC Aiken was third, Armstrong Atlantic State University ninth, Columbus State University eleventh, Flagler College No. 14 and Georgia College at 20.
Georgia College competed in two tournaments since the beginning of the spring season, the Matlock Invitational, hosted by Florida Southern College and the Armstrong Pirate Invitational, hosted by Armstrong. The Bobcats placed within the top-10 at Armstrong Pirate Invitational, taking eighth. Georgia College will compete in Southeastern Collegiate Monday, March 10.
