Severe Weather Forecast Cancels Bobcat Golf Season Opener

KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. – With Hurricane Irma on the way, the 2017 Kiawah Island Invitational has been cancelled, postponing the start of the season for Georgia College Golf.

Bobcat Golf's lid-lifter will now be Sept. 18-19 at the Ninth Annual Jay Jennison Cup in St. Augustine, Florida. The event is hosted by Flagler College at Slammer & Squire.

The Georgia College Department of Athletics, two-time winners of the PBC Commissioner's Cup, sponsors 11 varsity athletic programs at the NCAA Division II level.
