MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. - The Georgia College & State University men's basketball program and head coach Terry Sellers have announced the signing of Darius Stephens today (June 9).
Stephens comes to Milledgeville from Cairo High School where he played for head coach Ike Chance.
Stephens averaged 10 points, six rebounds, and two blocks per game this past season. Cairo went 18-7 making a trip to the Sweet-16 where they were knocked out by eventual AAA State Champion South Atlanta High School.
"Darius is a 6-foot-6 forward with tremendous upside," revealed Sellers. "He is extremely athletic with a nice shooting touch. We believe his best basketball is ahead of him and are thrilled that he has decided to continue his career at Georgia College."
