MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. - The Georgia College & State University men's basketball team (18-3, 11-1 PBC) earned the second slot in the most recent NCAA Division II Southeast Rankings, released Wednesday.
The Bobcats keep the second slot for the second-straight week, one behind fellow Peach Belt Conference (PBC) school Augusta State University. The Bobcats are one of four PBC teams listed in the region's best 10, as after GCSU and ASU, Francis Marion University owns the sixth slot, and the University of Montevallo is seventh.
Positioning in this poll is crucial, as it determines the five at-large teams taken to the NCAA Tournament in March.
The Bobcats are back in action tomorrow, Feb. 13 at 3:30 p.m., hosting USC Aiken at the Centennial Center.
