FORT VALLEY, Ga. - Citing a scheduling conflict with a conference game, Fort Valley State University has pushed back their men's basketball game against Georgia College & State University, changing the contest from the original date of Dec. 5 to Monday, Dec. 7 at 7 p.m.
The Bobcats are fresh off a 22-7 season in 2008-2009. Georgia College made a trip back to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2006 and had its third 20-win season in the past four years. The Bobcats lose a trio of seniors including Shaun Keaton (2006-09) who was named to the first team in both the Peach Belt Conference (PBC) and National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC)/NCAA Southeast Region.
