ISTANBUL, Turkey - Former Georgia College & State University standout Aaron Clark (2004-08) was recently named to the All-TB2L First Team.
Clark, the Bobcats' second all-time leading rebounder, additionally received TB2L Center of the Year honors and was selected to the All-Imports Team. Clark averaged 16.4 points and 10.5 boards as TED Istanbul went 9-13 on the season.
Clark who graduated from Georgia College in the spring of 2008 with a degree in marketing (3.71 GPA), was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team. He became the first GCSU men's basketball player to be named All-Peach Belt Conference (PBC) in consecutive seasons since 2003. He averaged 13.1 points and 7.6 rebounds per game and was the second-leading rebounder in the PBC his senior season. He leaves GCSU with 1,467 points scored, fourth most in school history. Clark's 847 boards is also the third-most in PBC history. He is also on the school's top-10 career lists in games played, steals, assists and blocks.
