MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Sophomore guard Nate Hamilton (Snellville, Ga.) of the Georgia College men’s basketball team (9-5, 3-3 PBC) was named the Bobcat Athlete of the Week for the week ending Jan. 16. This is the first such honor for Hamilton and the fourth for the Bobcat men this season.
Hamilton set then re-set his career high in points over the two games this week, hitting for 14 points to start in the loss to Georgia Southwestern State University Wednesday. He followed that up with 16 points in his first career start, a win over Armstrong Atlantic Saturday.
The Bobcats are back in action Saturday, Jan. 22 at 3:30 p.m., hosting the University of Montevallo.
