INDIANAPOLIS – Despite winning two more games this week, the Georgia College men’s basketball team (17-8, 10-6 PBC) remained in sixth place in the most recent NCAA Southeast Region Men’s Basketball Rankings, released Wednesday.
The Bobcats are third among the five Peach Belt Conference (PBC) teams in the list. Lincoln Memorial University retains the top slot, with USC Aiken leapfrogging King College to take the second slot. Anderson University is fourth, and with the University of Montevallo positioned ahead of GC. The Bobcats are 3-1 against teams ahead of them in the poll.
The region rankings are used to determine the five at-large bids to the NCAA Division II Men’s Basketball Tournament in March.
The Bobcats are back in action today, Feb. 25 at 7:30 p.m., traveling to Clayton State University.
