MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Senior guard Jared Holmes (Indianapolis) of the Georgia College men’s basketball team (6-1) was named the Bobcat Athlete of the Week, the GC sports information office announced Tuesday. This marks the first such honor for Holmes and the fourth for the Bobcat men this season.
Holmes powered the charge in Monday's 91-68 win over Carver Bible College, GC's lone game this week. Holmes got the Bobcats rolling with 18 first-half points. He finished 10-of-19 from the floor with 24 points, six rebounds and three steals.
GC returns to the court Wednesday, Dec. 14 at 7:30 p.m., starting the Peach Belt Conference (PBC) season at North Georgia.
