Georgia College Ready to “Pack the House in Pink” Wednesday

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – During the Georgia College basketball doubleheader against the University of Montevallo Wednesday, Feb. 1, Zeta Tau Alpha will sponsor “Pack the House in Pink” day beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Fans are encouraged to dress in their pink gear in support for breast cancer awareness. Free pink ribbons and face painting will be available for those in attendance. The women’s game will begin at 5:30 p.m. while the men are scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m.
During halftime at the men’s game, a yogurt eating contest will be featured. The entry fee is $5 with a prize of home-cooked dinner at the Zeta House. Pink Georgia College shirts will also be for sale at the front door with all proceeds going to the Susan G. Komen foundation.
“Think Pink!” is the registered trademark of Zeta Tau Alpha, who’s official philanthropy is with the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Throughout the year, with focus on breast cancer awareness month, ZTA distributes Think Pink! ribbons, breast self-examination calendar reminder stickers and shower cards.
