MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. - The Georgia College Basketball doubleheader, originally scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 12 at Clayton State University has been moved to Monday, Feb. 17, due to projected inclement weather.
With proposed freezing rain and ice on the horizon, the athletic departments at both Georgia College and Clayton State have decided to move the contest, in the interest of safety.
The Bobcats' next matchup is Georgia College's Homecoming doubleheader against Columbus State University Saturday, Feb. 15 with a 3:30 p.m. start time.
The Georgia College Department of Athletics, two-time winners of the PBC Commissioner's Cup, sponsors 11 varsity athletic programs at the NCAA Division II level.
