MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Sophomore guard Jordan Thomas (Conyers) of the Georgia College Men's Basketball team (6-5, 1-4 PBC) has been named Bobcat Athlete of the Week for his efforts during the week ending Jan. 6.
Thomas burned the Flagler College defense for a career-high 32 points Saturday, leading the Bobcats to an 85-77 win. Thomas turned it on when it mattered most, scoring 19 of the 32 in the second half, while hitting 8-of-14 from the field. He was 13-for-22 overall for the game, including 4-for-7 from long range. The 32 points are the most by a Bobcat since All-American Terrell Harris (2016) scored 39 at Lander University Feb. 24, 2016.
The Bobcats are back in action Wednesday, Jan. 9 at 10 a.m., playing host to Georgia Southwestern State University.
