Join the Bobcat Club Today! MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Take your support for Bobcat basketball to the next level by joining the 2016-17 Men’s and Women’s Basketball Bobcat Club. A Bobcat Club membership directly supports the men’s and women’s basketball programs by funding the delicious Bobcat Club halftime hospitality room, decreasing the cost of much needed equipment for the team and funding special projects. Members receive admission to all men’s and women’s home basketball contests for the 2016-17 season, access to the halftime hospitality room available during all January and February Peach Belt Conference (PBC) games and 15% off all basketball apparel. Memberships begin at $135 with an individual membership. Individual members receive one season ticket, one pass to the hospitality room and one parking pass. Dual memberships cost $195 and grant the members two season basketball tickets, two passes to the hospitality room and one parking pass. A family membership costs $275 and grants the members four season basketball tickets, two adult and two child (under 18) passes to the hospitality room and one parking pass. The women’s team brings back five seniors, including last year’s team leader in assists and second leading scorer, LaRice Walker. The Bobcat women finished fourth in the west division of the PBC and posted a 16-13 overall record. Coach Smith’s squad reached the PBC Tournament for the third year in a row. The men’s team returns four players in 2016, including two seniors and PBC Co-Freshman of the Year Isaac Thomas. The men finished 18-11 overall in the 2015-16 season, and finished fourth in the west division of the PBC on their way to making the PBC Tournament. The Bobcats swept the PBC awards in 2015-16 as Terrell Harris won PBC Player of the Year, Gainous won Coach of the Year and Thomas won PBC Co-Freshman of the Year. The Georgia College Department of Athletics, two-time winners of the PBC Commissioner Cup, sponsors 11 varsity athletic programs at the NCAA Division II level.
