AUGUSTA, Ga. – Georgia College men’s tennis player Johan Wadstein (Helsingborg, Sweden) has been named Peach Belt Conference (PBC) Men’s Tennis Player of the Week, as announced by the league office Monday afternoon.
Wadstein was a perfect 6-0 in his matches this week, as the Bobcats defeated three nationally-ranked opponents to clinch a berth in the PBC Tournament.
Competing at the second singles position, Wadstein beat Mateus Camasmine of No. 25 North Georgia, Henrique Boturao of No. 12 Augusta State University and Patrick Steibinger of No. 33 USC Aiken.
