AUGUSTA, Ga. - The Peach Belt Conference (PBC) announced its Preseason All-PBC Team for men’s tennis Monday afternoon, with Georgia College standout Jerome Leborgne (Coordimanche, France) earning a spot on the team.
The senior is coming off back-to-back All-PBC Second Team nods, while also being named to the PBC All-Academic Team last season.
Leborgne has amassed a 22-18 singles record over the course of his two-year career, serving primarily as GC’s No. 1 player. He has also earned a 25-20 doubles record, competing exclusively in that top spot.
Finishing the 2011 season No. 16 nationally, Leborgne is currently ranked No. 13 in the nation and No. 4 in the Southeast Region.
Leborgne and the rest of the GC men’s and women’s tennis teams begin the 2012 slate Saturday, Feb. 4 against Anderson (S.C) University at noon.
