INDIANAPOLIS - The 2014 NCAA Championship Selection Shows for men's and women's tennis will be tonight. The Bobcats hope to be featured in these shows, which can be viewed at NCAA.com.
The men's tennis teams will be announced 8 p.m. and women's at 8:30 p.m.
The Georgia College men's tennis team finished fourth in the Peach Belt Conference (PBC) standings with a 7-3 conference record on the season. They won 5-0 in the quarterfinals against GRU Augusta, and finished with a 5-1 loss in the semi-finals against Columbus State. The team is also ranked No. 4 in the Southeast Region in a regional poll done by The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA).
The women's team also finished fourth in the PBC standings this season with a 9-4 conference record. The team ended the season with a 5-1 win against number six seed Lander in the 5th place match of the PBC Tournament. They are ranked No. 5 in the Southeast Region in the ITA regional poll.
