The tennis guru picked up his 500th career win during the 2016 season in beating Young Harris March 12.

A major highlight of the season came when Georgia College defeated then-No. 1 Armstrong Atlantic during the regular season 5-4.

The women took No. 17 in the nation. They added a 20-9 overall record, as the women's team played in their 22nd straight NCAA Tournment.

Barsby was named the PBC Men's Tennis Coach of the Year in 2005 after coaching the Bobcats to an 18-7 overall record, 6-2 mark in the PBC, and their second straight trip to the NCAA Tournament.

He was named the PBC Women's Tennis Coach of the Year in 2003 after guiding the Bobcat women's tennis team to one of the greatest seasons in school history. The Bobcat women won their first outright, and fourth overall, PBC Regular Season Championship, as well as the PBC Tournament Championship.
